Australia’s Nuclear Archive
A critical site of nuclear heritage

Mailing List
Australia is home to the world’s oldest continuous cultures, on Earth’s most stable and arid inhabited continent.

Australia also happens to contain one third of all known uranium: a material that produces waste which must be “isolated from people and their environment” for up to 30,000 generations. Australia is therefore a critical—yet heretofore neglected—site for understanding the nuclear fuel cycle as future cultural and environmental heritage.
